- Serkan
Of, iş yerinde müdürümle yine tartıştım. Artık ne yapacağımı bilmiyorum.
Ugh, I argued with my manager at work again. I just don't know what to do anymore.
- Beste
Yine mi? Bu sefer sorun neydi?
Again? What was the problem this time?
- Serkan
Bana çok fazla sorumluluk veriyor ama hiç takdir etmiyor. Fikirlerimi dinlemiyor bile.
He gives me loads of responsibility but never shows any appreciation. He doesn't even listen to my ideas.
- Beste
Bence onunla sakin bir zamanda konuşmalısın. Belki durumun farkında değildir.
I think you should talk to him at a calm moment. Maybe he isn't aware of the situation.
- Serkan
Konuşmayı denedim ama pek işe yaramadı.
I tried talking to him, but it didn't really help.
- Beste
O zaman belki de yeni iş fırsatlarına bakmalısın. Durum seni bu kadar mutsuz ediyorsa, orada kalmak zorunda değilsin.
Then maybe you should look at new job opportunities. If the situation makes you this unhappy, you don't have to stay there.
- Serkan
Ama ya daha kötü bir yere düşersem?
But what if I end up somewhere worse?
- Beste
Hemen istifa etme. Önce sessizce başvur; iyi bir teklif gelirse o zaman karar verirsin. Yeteneklerine uygun daha iyi bir yer bulabilirsin.
Don't quit right away. Apply quietly first; if a good offer comes, you can decide then. You can find a better place that suits your skills.
- Serkan
Haklısın galiba. Özgeçmişimi güncellemeye başlasam iyi olacak.
I guess you're right. I'd better start updating my résumé.
