Why didn't you answer my calls last night? I was really worried about you.

Çok özür dilerim Gizem. Toplantıdaydım; telefonum sessizdeymiş, hiç duymamışım.
I'm so sorry, Gizem. I was in a meeting — my phone was on silent, and I didn't hear it at all.

Ama sonra da geri dönmedin. Sana bir şey oldu sandım.
But you didn't call back afterward either. I thought something had happened to you.

Hayır, haklısın. Benim hatam. Bundan sonra daha dikkatli olacağım.
No, you're right. It was my fault. I'll be more careful from now on.

Grammar & Culture Notes
Grammar
Finding out about your own actions: -mIş
Telefonum sessizdeymiş, hiç duymamışım, uyuyakalmışım — Hakan uses -mış for things he only realized afterward. It's the natural way to say 'it turns out / apparently' about yourself.
Grammar
As soon as: -(I)r -mAz
Eve gelir gelmez = 'as soon as I got home'. Repeat the verb in the positive aorist and then the negative aorist: görür görmez (as soon as he saw), biter bitmez (as soon as it ends).
Culture
Apologizing and paying
Özür dilerim is a full, sincere apology; kusura bakma(yın) is a lighter 'sorry'. Benden ('from me') is how you offer to pay: Kahveler benden! — in Turkey, friends often compete to pay the bill.
