- Leyla
Başka bir şehirden çok iyi bir iş teklifi aldım ama karar veremiyorum.
I got a really good job offer in another city, but I can't decide.
- Ferit
Neden? Bu harika bir haber, değil mi?
Why not? That's great news, isn't it?
- Leyla
Öyle ama burada kurulu bir düzenim var. Ailem, arkadaşlarım, hepsi burada. Her şeyi bırakıp gitmek çok zor geliyor.
It is, but I have a settled life here. My family, my friends — they're all here. Leaving everything behind feels really hard.
- Ferit
Anlıyorum. Peki kariyerin açısından nasıl bir fırsat? Bu teklifi kabul etmezsen pişman olur musun?
I get it. But what kind of opportunity is it for your career? Would you regret it if you turned it down?
- Leyla
İşte en zor soru da bu. Bu iş kariyerimde bir dönüm noktası olabilir. Kabul etmezsem “Kabul etseydim ne olurdu?” diye hep merak ederim.
That's the hardest question. This job could be a turning point in my career. If I don't accept, I'll always wonder, 'What would have happened if I'd said yes?'
- Ferit
Peki şirket kısmen uzaktan çalışmaya izin veriyor mu? Belki ayda bir hafta burada olabilirsin.
Does the company allow partly remote work? Maybe you could spend one week a month here.
- Leyla
Bunu hiç sormadım! Aslında iyi bir fikir.
I never asked about that! Actually, that's a good idea.
- Ferit
Bence bir artı-eksi listesi yap ve mantıklı bir şekilde değerlendir. Ama sonunda kalbinin sesini dinle. Hangi karar seni uzun vadede daha huzurlu yapacaksa, doğrusu odur.
I think you should make a list of pros and cons and weigh it up rationally. But in the end, listen to your heart. Whichever decision will make you more at peace in the long run — that's the right one.
- Leyla
Sağ ol Ferit. Yarın İK ile konuşup uzaktan çalışma seçeneğini soracağım.
Thanks, Ferit. Tomorrow I'll talk to HR and ask about the remote option.
